This is my first post, I've done a few searches but I'm looking for some details on how to remove the external door handles...

I scratched the black off the metal bit on one of my handles and I wanna take it off to respray it black again - is it a big job?

Just masked the car up and paint them on the car...

Fair call, just wondering if I'll get marks when i peel the tape off

Do you reckon I should use those little nail-polish bottles of black or spray?

I'm a fan of ripping things off and spraying all over.
It might be just something to do with the paint fumes.
I'd start by taking your interior door panel off and looking at what needs to be done from there.
