Has anyone set up an inverter to run on a permanent basis inside their vehicle running from a seperate 12volt source? ie perhaps placed in the centre consol facing back into passenger area with a PC cooling fan hooked into it somewhere?Need to set up something to run fans,cameras etc. while vehicle is stationary without flattening the starter battery.

What types of fan's and camera's?

If it's usage is anything larger then 150w then you'll really want a secondary battery so that you dont flatten your main one.

I would be running a video camera 18 w draw and 12 volt cooler 52w draw with a 6 or 8 inch oscillating fan draw unknown,I would also be looking at installing some type of second battery setup in the boot to run these while the vehicle is stationary.(any assistance with this would be appreciated also)
