I think if you remove the barrel, you might be able to alter the interlock.

How are you going to move it without the key?

If it's on concrete; jack up the front of the car with a trolley jack and then wheel the whole thing out? If you can remove the ignition barrel (shaft punch required) you can unlock the steering.

thing is, its not straight atm and its in a fairly narrow drive way, thus my problem, and i didnt really want to take out the barrel but i guess im gonna have to

You will need to remove the steering wheel, indicator stalk etc, use a hack saw to make a groove in the screws and then they will unscrew allowing you to remove the whole ignition.

Sparing that, if you do not care about the ignition, just get a reasonable screw driver with a pair pf vice grips holding them securly and hammer it into the lock and then twist. It should give with enough hitting etc.

Easiest way is to use a trolley jack.. Jack the front of car up(wheels just off the ground) under the middle, when you take the hand brake off you can then pull the car forward.. you will need 2 people, one to give the car a good push and the other to pull the car buy the jack handle. The more help the better. you can then turn the car by pulling the jack around..

Its alot easier then it sounds...

Get 3 mates around and its a peice of piss, take your time when pushing the car on the jack. use the jack to steer the car...

Good luck, Hope it works out..
