Dunno about yours but mine has a little metal lever that you push down and pull out, it clamps the globe in, then you just pull the globe out.

Manual

Mate - thats all that holds tehm in!!

It is a C shaped clip with a little loop on one end - u just need to push that loopy bit towards teh front of the car and then to the side and teh globe should be nice and loose to pull out.

You have take the wiring loom off the back of teh globe and the dust cover off the back of the head light yes??

Manual

Ok - step by step for you mate:

Unplug the wiring loom - there should be a little clip on the side you need to press and then just pull it off.

Remove the Rubber Dust Cover - this cover is just sitting on and is tight cos it is a rubber fit - just pull it off - should come off with a little bit of force.

Look inside teh headlight part where teh rubber boot was protecting - you should see the metal clip that I was talking about.

just unclip this and teh globe should fall out.

Hint** If you are working on the drivers side - try removing the water bottle to give you alot more room to work with - there is only 2 bolts holding this in and a wiring harness as well - easy.

If you are working on the passenger side (i found this had very little rom to work - then I found it was easier to undo the headlights and slide it forward a little to get more room for your hands to work in.

Though you shouldn't need to do this.

Is that helping??

HAHAHAHAHA
Swap them both if you want bright white High BEAM ...
Swap High/Low only if you want White driving and ok High.
If you have Verada lights then outside is LOW and inside is High.
on Magna outside is Low/High inside is high

The main light is H4 always has, even in the TR's

The only difference is that some High beam globes are either H1 or H3

Mine in the Diamante lights are H3's so the Verada lights might be the same

Easy way to tell

The base of the H1's is circular with a slice out of it...imagine a circle with a flat spot.

The H3's are completely round and it has an earth lead coming off it.

(Or it's the other way around...I always get them confused)

OK on Verada (KE+) or TJ Sports ... Parabola head lights
The inside Hi Beam is a HB3 (9005)
and the outside Lo Beam HB4 (9006)

Yeah the Parabolics are H1 and H7 (as noted on the top of the headlights)

Stanley are the manufacturers. (It may differ from the older parabolics)

Well both sets of Parabola lights I got.. (TJ Sports single piece plastic lens, and KE+ 2 piece glass lens) both have the same bulbs.. like in the picks above.
My old Diamante lights... (killbillies) used a differnce STRANGE type of bulb.
What do these H1 and H7 ones look like?

ok Malcome, i dunno wtf ir talking about but ur drivers lightss\ and ur hi beams are not the same light!! derr

You have 3 lights

Your Parkers - situated about 10mm from your driving lights (towards the outisde of teh car)

Driving lights - (Towards the outside of the car)

Hi Beam - (towards the inside of the car (the grill))

It is all done thankyou all, no worries at all, just ending up replacing the driving lights with Silver Max Platinum - Opti Blue (H4 12V 60/55W) it puts out a nice white/blueish lights, which is quite noticeable when compared with standard ones, while driving.

Cheers

Hey???
Ever since the TM Magnas, there are four sets of lights on each corner of
the car.
1. Directional blinkers (21W)
2. Parking lights (usually within the headlight unit, outside for some model
Veradas, 5W)
3. Driving lights (55/60W H4 dual filament, 55 for normal driving, 60 for hi
beam and when you only flash the high beam, not lock it in place, both 55
and 60 are on. Careful with this as the wiring in the indicator stalk will
melt - been there, done that).
4. High beam lights (55W H1)

H7 lights are only single filament, I doubt that Mitsubishi will use H7 light
bulbs on some models and H4 light bulbs on others, it means having
different wiring looms, a costly exercise.

What you said is correct for TR/TS ...
The single fillemnet ones are the Diamante Parabola type ones (KillBillies) (different wiring looms)
I have never seen a KS.KR Verada so I cannot comment on them.
The TE,TF,TH & TJ Standard lights are the same as well.
The Parabola ones use single filliment bulbs and the wiring looms ARE different. These are the ones that do not have a parker by default in the actual main lens assembly.. since they are on the front bar.
On the two piece models of the parabola lights (indicators seperate) they can be modded by inserting a small 5w bulb into a blocked of section of the reflector. (Someone here as done this.... I cannot remember who it was) These have to be rewired to get the lights to work.
The TJ Sports and KJ Veradas have a single light (indicator is connected to the main light) they donot have any spots for the 5w parker. They are also a single filliment and need to be rewired to fit in cars who didnot come out std with them.
In both Parabola KE-KJ+Sports, The rewiring will allow the outside Lows to STAY on while the inside Highs are on... other wise you only get Low or Hi not both.
Hope this helps.
