View Full Version : Built My cold Air intake

I finally got around to building my cold air intake! just used 90mm PVC and some heat reflective tape! I havn't changed to a K&N Filter yet but I can already feel a slight difference above about 3500rpm. I'll take some pics later its nothing flash or new but it does the job quite well

Oh and I did some test with a hot air gun on the PVC before I put it in, the hot air gun was good for 1200watts and 500 degree's, when left it on the pvc for extended periods I was able to bend it but it was still quite strong(as in didnt loose its basic shape) I dont know how hot it gets under a engine bay but I'm guessing it would be a long way shy of 500 degree's
