I own a 96 V6 TS with 95,000ks, had since brand new! I am after a car for gf, and come across a 1994 TS V6 Magna with 207,000ks for $4900 (privately)
I am after any feed back, coz I wanna no if its a good buy coz i have never bought second hand! And what sorta things we should look out for when inspecting it this week?? The owner said it needs new front shockies, and everything else is A1! But I never believe what im told lol

got some bigger pictures? cant tell much from the ones you have provided. It does however sound a bit much for the amount of k's on it. If it was me, and i was satisfied it was in good nick, i would probably offer $4000, but maybe settle for $4500.

As for things to look out for.. is it an auto?? if it is, and its over 200 000k's old, i wouldnt be overwelmed with confidene. Pay particular attention to how smoothly it changes gears, cruise along at about 40km/h going up a hill, then plant the throttle and see how well it kicks down. If the kick down is sloppy or lumpy, walk away cos it will probably only be a matter of time till the gearbox says bye byes.

Also, stand on the side of the road, get your gf to drive past you at about 30 km/h, with the gearbox locked in 1st gear. Just as she passes you get her to floor the accelerator. If it blows smoke, walk away. Also make sure the engine revs smoothly, these engines, as im sure your aware having owned a magna V6, are renowned for being very free revving engines. So make sure it revs freely all the way to its redline. Make sure it idles smoothly and there isnt any "ticking" noises at idle.
