i have a lanzar amp 1200w max 600w rms total i bridge to my alpine type s 12" sub which i have been doing since i got it in november ,i had the stereo cranked as always and then turned off the car when i got to work then i started the car and all of a sudden alternator whine through the speakers and then the sub just started going BANG BANG just kept going its not the rcas cause i just unpluged them from the lanzar amp and now im using an amp for all 4 speakers the lanzar still turns on and still has power going to it but as long as the rcas arnt pluged into the lanzar there will be no noise interference
oh yeah i brought a noise suppressor so does that just plug straight into the lanzar Like red wire to 12v+ black to gnd and blue to rmt any input would be good thanx
Maybe your ground point has somehow magically come lose?

95% off the time any eltrical or sound interfirence problems are caused by a bad earth. if your amps are only a few meters away from the battery run a negative wire back to it. allways try to ground to the chassie rails of your car and make sure that if you run a 4 of 0 gauge wire to your amps make sure there is the same sise wire comeing off the battery to ground.
hence if you have 8 gauge comeing off the battery as positive make sure there is an 8 gauge comeing of the batterie to ground.

a major cause of alternator noise through speakers is ur RCA leads running too close to your power cable. I got a 4 guage power running at some points very close to 2 pairs of joind RCA's. A noise suppressor from memory will run in series with your rca leads at the amp end so by the time the sound reaches the end of the rca at the amp and ready to be sent to the speaker it is killed by the suppressor.
