Hey guys,
I just bought a KR Verada and im intending to install a new stereo in it. I was wondering if you had to cut metal to fit in 6x9's in the back shelf or is there already factory holes for this ?
thanks.

no cutting needed, well, maybe a little bit of carpet round the edges, but not metal.

Yeah under the shelf there is a 6x9" hole covered up. Only problem I had with mine was that i had to cut the carpet, but because the old grilles were square when i put the 6x9's in there was a small gap either side without carpet. I just stuffed a bit of the cut carpet in the holes, can't tell through the tint on the back window.

If I didn't already have the 6x9's i would've just put 6" speakers in so it still looked factory. Oh well too late now.

Yeah just push the carpet out of the way until your 6x9 just slides into place which it should!
My JBL 6x9's slotted in beautifully
