Sprintex WA (AAC) are launching their 226kw/422Nm Supercharged AWD Magna at the Melbourne Motor show in March.
General Manager of Australian Automotive Components Ltd, Mr. Jay Upton, informs me that kit specs, pricing etc will be available as well as updates on their website by the Motor Show.
The pic looks pretty bland though...

Looks like an Eaton or Whipple Roots-type from the location of the belt on the rhs of the custom cover.
I think I'd like my SC in plain view, yeah?!

I quite like it, nice and clean. Sorta like the car wolf in sheeps clothing. :D

Wonder if it can be retrofitted to the 3.0's like they say the 3.5's can. The 3.0 pistons can handle more boost than the 3.5's

And how do you know that ;) hahaha
Oh yeah - I don't see why it couldn't be adapated - not many differences between the 3L and 3.5L - and WE ALL KNOW the 3L could use more torque ;) hahahaa

A little birdie told me about how the piston heads are shaped in that the piston ring gland isn't that thick and can crack. The 3.0's are a different thickness and are stronger.

Tell me about it. I'm trying to rectify that. Well, for one thing the different deck height can be an issue. I mean, it causes issues for headers for starters and if the unit is hanging of the block then there's going to be a slight complication with offset relative to a 3.5. I'm sure some cleaver positioning / spacing could adress this issue.

I've been told that testing is underway on front wheel drive 6G74s. No mention of a 6G72 kit and might not be.

ok article in WA motoring section last saturday stated it can fit both manual and auto FWD and AWD and can be retrofitted, it was also $6950
although another article had it over $7000 someone should just ring AAC and ask
or maybe Trav can give us some good info
