I posted a similar topic a few weeks ago and ended up fitting extractors to my car :) .
Now I have come across some extra money again and I'm not sure what mods to do with this money. The purse is of the tune of around $1300-$1400 so I can mod seriously. Alright I want the mods to be engine/performance related, not cosmetic.
So far I have
Ram Pod Air Filter
Lukey Muffler
Pacemaker Extractors.

Things I am looking at
Greddy Engine Management Piggyback computer-the unfortuante thing about this mod is that it will consume the entire budget.
Fuel Pressure Regulator
High Flow Catalytic Convertor
Stage 1 camshafts-also will consume all the budget

there are also many other mods available in this budget in the online store I have a TH 3.5

Any help is appreciated

hey mr_mbquart,

http://www.rpw.com.au/New%20Website/Performance%20Upgrades/Mitsubishi/Magna/Magna%20TE%20-%20TJ/magna101package.htm

rpw suggests mods in the following order:

1 K&N Ram Pod Filter with cold air induction kit.
2 Fitment of Lukey rear muffler upgrade or equivalent.
3 FSE fuel pressure regulator kit
4 RPW 3-1 Tuned length extractors
5 RPW 70mm oversize throttle body
6 Ported and polished cylinder head with valve spring upgrade
7 Stage 1 camshaft and piggy back computer system

so maybe the FSE is the next thing to do

Yeah, I'll be at that stage soon and I'll be going extractors, oversize throttle body then FPR.

in my humble opinion, what you have is not far away from the limit you can push the magna too without installing a turbo/supercharger. save the $$$ and feel happy abt it later on...

have you done any handling mods??? if not, id be looking into that.... strut brace, harder springs, wider tyres etc!! depending on what you want to do in the future a LSD might also be a good investment.... i know i could use one in my girl! (unless you have the auto :? ) other than that... i reckon a fuel pressure reg and a sports cat would be good options!!
