best time i saw was on the 19th of jan at test and tune, a manual TJ sports with extractors and muffler ran a 14.87, plus that was on a night that everyone was off their best times by atleast half a second!
i've run a 15.3 in a stock 3.5ltr '99 TH manual
plenty of guys are running almost flat 15's with muffler and CAI.
how do the commodores stack up?
Yer check here I got a tj sports auto with a panel ( only mod) 15.30 but only got to do two runs might be able to improve a little :D

i just realised something. How the freak did you get such a good 60 foot time in an auto!?
I used the tippy and held the gears for what i thought was right .I wanted to try a few different combos of tire pressures, tippy and non tippy and traction control on and off but only got two runs was dissapointed the last time i went (a few years ago not in the maggie) I got twelve runs in one night.I am sure i could improve on this as usually your first runs are your slowest. :D
Yeah just checked the registry to check out the 60ft time maybe the five spd tippy has a lower ratio first gear?
In the process i noticed that i have the fastset time recorded from a auto woohoo!!!
Still would like to do better though!!! :D

i frequently drive my dads TJ sports 5sp tippy and it is crap off the line, although i havent ever really tried to launch it hard.
Some people could learn a thing or 2 off you on how to launch an auto i think

manual for manual its probably dead on, commas are just cheaper to mod.
auto for auto i think year for year the comma would win cos they gear it so i can beat fords
lol
If you use the tippy i think the traction control makes a big difference and also tyre pressure is a factor i turned mine off for both these runs but did have some wheelspin of the line I noticed this one day when the traction control was off and i gave it some stick in second gear and it spun (goin round a slight bend) and i know if i had it on it would still take off but alot more timidly .Thanks for the compliment.I would be willing to help anyone on here if they wanted it. :)

Is that a 5spd tippy you got there - cause I got the 4spd and there's no way in hell I'd be able to chirp in second without some form of forced induction.
Blackbeard it wont chirp in second the change is not sudden enough in a straight line but going around a slight bend and gun it with no traction control and she will spin not on the change but from flooring it .It would be nice to trick up the trans so it had more of a sudden shift.Would like to look in to getting the torque converter modified but wonder how much it would affect normal driving changes :)
