Just a question, i know i finally bought a car and yes by the title thats what i got but theres one problem. I thought it had dual air bags and it doesn't? It was advertised with them and it doesn't have them. What should i do??

Where did you get it from?

There might not be much you can do if you got it from a private seller.
Airbags (or lack thereof) are quite obvious so you usually notice if they aren't there.

So, we need more info on how you bought the car. From who, if you paid ca$h or some other way, etc.

I also have a SeriesII TJ (made in 2002). I'm pretty sure mine was as stock as they come - and it didn't have passenger side airbag - only driver. It's not an issue for me. You'd probably find that the 'advance' would have had dual airbag.

So if you rocked up to a dealership after seeing magna's advertised for a certain price "with dual airbag" and you drove out in an un-optioned 2002 exec - I suggest going back to the dealership with the advertisment in hand and ask why you paid the advertised price but didn't get a model with all the features listed.

Executives were driver airbag only unless optioned from the factory, Only Advance and up had the dual airbags.

You complain about not getting dual airbags when you stated it was advertised with them AFTER you bought the car....? :shock:

That would mean you were expecting the car to have dual airbags when you went to see it? yeah? :D

That would mean that when you opened the door and peakie booed inside and didn't see dual airbags, it didn't click that there was no passenger bag until AFTER you TEST DROVE the car, then paid the DEALER / PRIVATE SELLER then DROVE IT HOME?

Then you looked at glovebox area and then realised? :doubt:

Maybe you should check again and make sure you acutally bought a magna.... :bowrofl:

Well i got told that it had dual airbags which i thought may have come with an executive series II but i was obviously wrong. It wasn't advertised as dual but on the phone the dealers said it was, to be honest i wasn't exactly looking at the airbags i was looking at the body more so. And yes did make sure it was a magna lol. :). They werent a huge issue but i just needed to make sure

Who really knows how many airbags there are anyway... until after the "oh sh..!!!" :redface:

Just get yourself a girlfriend with big jugs mate. She will more than make up for any airbags you don't already have :D
