After reading these forums for a while I finally decided on a Verada. I was able to pick up an 1999 KH ei at the auctions for what i think is a reasonable price, it needs some work but that all part of the fun of getting a new car. Anyways I have some questions that i would appreciate some suggestions on..

Here we go...

1. I have just got my Auto transmission serviced and the guy from the shop said that he was
unable to connect to the auto transmissions ecu, and there was error codes on the main
ecu relating to the transmission. The auto appears to work fine any suggestion on what
the problem could be.

2. Every now and again the Accelerator sticks at about 1/4 throttle, and you have to force it
to the floor to get it working again, checked the cable appears to be fine and running
smothly under the bonnet.

3. After about 5 minutes of driving the temp gauge goes to half way and stays there, is that
the normal operating temp for the KH veradas.

This is my first post on these forms, and I am sure ill post more in the future.

I can answer number 3, its the normal operating temp as my KH verada does exactly the same, after a couple of minutes, at half and doesn't move,

As far as I know all (or atleast most) cars temp gauge should run on half. The engine needs to run a temp as no to over heat the engine but hot enough to burn the fuel, and on the gauge that temp is half way. I think thats right, sorry but I can't help with your other questions other than if in doubt take it to your dealer.
