what? do u want to know how to take out the headunit or something? what car? they've been covered a million times, do a search on the forum(don't u just hate these answers :bowrofl: but its truee...)
as for wiring kit, (i don't know what u have) basically, crimp a ring terminal to the end of the red cable, connect that to the +ve battery terminal, then to the fuse holder (30cm from battery) then to the amp. the other black coloured power cable just goes from your amp's ground terminal to somewhere metal on your car chassis. the other should be a thin blue wire..that goes from the remote wire from the headunit into the 'remote' terminal on the amp. etc etc.

sweet as, well that makes sence now, do i need to plug in the RCA plugs to the head unit thats rite? oh yer i have a TJ magna and now idea how to pull out the head unit???? and sorry one more thing? on the wire kit it says the blue wire need to got to the firewall wer is that?
hmmm..huh? blue wire thru firewall? usually only your power cable thats connected to the battery is gonna go thru the firewall...
yeh, u connect up rca's from headunit to amp.
firewall is the wall thats between u and the engine, under your windscreen.
basic rundown on taking dash apart. rip out the surround of your gearlever (just pull, held in by clips only) once thats out, take out ciggie plug and coin holder. now take that piece out(held in by two clips in top corners) then take the air con vent (big piece up to) out. this has a cable attached to a ring which can easily be unhooked on the right hand side. after this, u'll see two screws, unscrew them just a bit so u can pop out the black face. after that, unplug the hazard light wiring loom, uncip the dials and stuff. the metal frame holding in the headunit is now visible, with screws for u to take out.
if u don't feel confident about taking your dash out or installing this stuff, i'm sure someone in vic will be happy to help you out :)

What's the problem exactly? More details?
Are your rear speakers running off an amp or the headunit?
I'm confused.
Maybe this should be in car audio as well..
Peace

don't mean to hijack but one quick question,
stimulate, how do you plan on fitting a v12 into a magna's engine bay?

I think he means Alpine V12 amps or something along those lines.

I have done what should have been done in the first place and merged the 2 threads together, this should stop the confusion going on here
Hey mate...your posts are really confusing. It seems like you have a 2 channel amp, and two sets of RCA outputs on your headunit. THis means you can only connect one set of RCAs (either front or rear) into the amp to run your sub. You can't run the sub and speakers off the one amp, because you need to low pass the sub.
thanks mods...lol
could u also give us a list of exactly what you have....inc some basic specs.

Plug your rca's into the rear speaker ports at the back of the h/u. and attach these to your amp. Also connect the remote wire (blue) to your head unit wiring and your amp. Run the sub wires to your sub from the amp (bridge the two channels if you wan't maximum power).
However, if you have done all that...seems to me that your h/u isn't picking up that your rear speakers are hard wired into your head unit and thinks they are through the rca's only? weird!

assuming u have the power and ground wire done, connect the blue remote cable up to the amp, and then the RCA cables. you only need a pair, so either front or rear its up to you. connect those from the headunit up to your amp. from there on, just run your sub bridged on the 2ch amp. u should be all set then :)
don't forget to flick the amp onto 'low pass'. are u sure u wired up the rear speakers correctly? just check all the wiring behind your headunit and at the speakers.
