Has anyone noticed that the Ford Focus WRC's bodykit doesent match up to its wheel arch flares? it looks a bit tackey.

Maybe rolling the guards as opposed to flares?

Maybe rolling the guards as opposed to flares?

Rolling the guard and flaring it has different purposes. Rolling the guard
makes it have a bigger arch so that bigger diameter tyres do not rub on
the guard. Flaring it will make the car/guard wider so that wider tyres can
be installed, as no part of the top of the tyre should protrude the guard.

i reckon flared guards would be tops if done well! maybe even square them off a line aka skyline or WRX! i think it would make the magna look like one mean son of a bitch!!!

But what is the point when the whole idea is to get wider tyers for better traction on the drive tyres...
Being FWD that means you should have the large dia wider meater tyres on the front and the lil stocks on the back....
If you want to have flared guards by a SLR 5000 Torana like my GF.
She has 265 on the back and 245 on the front.

I thought rolling is where they roll out the body around the tyre to make it wider?
