Has anyone used redline High temp transmision oil in there boxs or is it no good. apparently it makes smoother gear changes and less slipping. It also does not have to be changed for up to 400,000kms. Let me know if anyone has used it???? Cheerz
I want to use it in a TH?

i work at coventrys and was reading up in our redline manual and all redline oils are long life. I have mates who use the shock proof gear oil in there manual commodores and in ther diffs and it has turned there clunky gear box into a brand new one.

Redline make superior oils for all applications (i think) they are very exspensive and used in motorsport cases, although i have never used any basically because of the price of the stuff

they make about four different types of auto trannie oil. But they make motor oil diff oil coolant. it is known as the best. but very expensive. but with anything you do properly you pay for quality. im gonna give it a go in mine .

When i get some cash together i might have to give it a try. It sounds pretty good.
When you say expensive; around what price are we talking for a (5 litre?) dexron equivalent? I've tried the mobil performance stuff with no difference, just a lighter wallet and that was roughly 45 bucks from memmory.
