View Full Version : 10"/12"?
I managed to score a sub and box of a mate (box is really good, sub is 600W yum-cha) and I want to replace the el-crapo sub with something a more decent - the only problem is that I don't know if it's a 12 inch or a 10 inch sub. What's the correct way to measure a sub?

It is the diameter from one screw hole to the opposite screw hole on the sub.
The hole will be slightly smaller (in the sub box), so the diameter for a 10" sub to fit into may be 9" inches or thereabouts.
There's no stupid questions... Only stupid people... (Mr Garrison)
Just messin dude!

Btw, u usually want to purchase the sub then the box. Much easier making the right box for the sub than vice versa
thanks, yes, obviously with a tape measure...
From hole to hole eh. Right-oh.
Post a photo of it with a sheet of A4 paper next to the hole and I'll tell you straight away whether its a 10" or 12". :)
thnx guys, just ripped out the sub and there are details on the back...it's a 12"
Anyone ever heard of this brand...seems VERY yum cha to me.
