I take it that its some kind of after market computer of fuel management system...

I think Energisers are better value... Duracells are good too but they're expensive though.

I'm running an S AFCII. Needed it because of going to the headers, my car was running very rich. My gas mileage was horrible, lean out the A/F mixture to about 13:1, gas mileage back up gained 6 Hp and 7lb/Tq at the wheels after dyno tune was done. Then the shop that tuned it tokk it our on the road, verified their tunning, adjusted some more of the rpm ranges and changed a couple of the ratios for real world driving including highway. Gained quite a bit more.
Had I been able to afford it right now I was considering an EManage. No problems so far though. Then again my car here in the US was a california spec car, basically I had a total of 3 cats and 4 O2 sensors for the PCM to calculate its A/F ratios among other things.
