does anyone out there know where i can get a body kit for my ts wagon in sydney/surrounds? Also, while driving at mid range speeds, my car seems to hit tiny walls where there is a very slight loss in power under pedal. I think it is probablly just dirty injectors but if anyone else has or had this problem can you give me some ideas?

The only commercially available kit I know of is from SSV
www.ssv.com.au they have nice side skirts, but the front bar leaves a lot to be desired.

I want to get the japanese Vanity Kit, but I think the costs of importing and the fact that it might not fit properly is making my change my mind

i sware by these guys! If you want something custom these are the people to see...if you want something but dont want the hassel of importing etc. Take sum pics to jetpseed and they will work out something for you!

It is a good idea to visit them as well as they have many more pics of cars they have kitted out. And are very helpful...unlike someother kit companys who said either 'no there isnt a market for magnas' (asking for a one off custom kit???) or 'come back in a month and well talk'

ive only had it for a week so about all ive done is washed it! looking at probably lowered springs/shocks, 2 1/2"extractors through to muffler, 16" mags, the body kit if it works out, then once it looks pretty start with some real mods under the hood.

yeah ive checked it out already and its got squat for tr/ts's in pre fab molds. only places that might do custom jobs but then you gotta pay out your arse! the only place i still know of is ssv that carry kits of the shelf and i also found that jetspeed have one already cast custom front bar available but for some reason they still charge you custom prices. it looks alright though. if you go to the jetspped site (link on previous page) and search magna in the custom category it should come up, its the only one.

I'm planning to put the VR-X skirt on my existing TS bar, cut and paste with some bog and carbon, bobs your uncle. Im not sure TZABOY, it's possible. I think that if it doesnt fit it'd only need minor changes as they're not that much different in width to the tr/ts

Maybe only the mounting points will need to be changed?

well ive still not found anymore through all my searching but then i heard that the front bar on a certain model of skyline might fit almost perfectly. has anyone else heard anything about this. it would definately open up some vast possibilities. i also heard of a guy who fixes all types of non metal body parts so i might get in contact with him and see if he could help with some custom fiddling with the old bar. let ypu all know how i go.

There was a guy on an American Diamante site who had fitted a Lexus LS400 kit to his Diamante with a few small mods (small to him - complex to me).

We have a local spoiler kit place here that advertises as off-the shelf kits and Custom jobs but if you walk in off the street and ask for TS Magna spoilers and kits - all they offer you is the standard sedan bootlid spoiler!

Good luck guys - I think I have decided that even if a kit was to be found - I probably wouldn't be able to afford it or justify it (I'm a family man).

Correction: Its an Australia site... most of the cars there are Australian plus a few N.Z as you say, a few U.S Diamante's and a few from Europe, etc.

now when you say 'modified r33 bar' how much was modified?

i was just about to ask the same question. also did you buy the bar then mod and fit it or did you get it ready to go?

the bar was already modified when I got it... I'm not sure how much was modified but I am guessing the top part and the sides where it joins up to the wheel arch.

The person I had bought it from had it fitted to a TR Magna. It came like this:

So i got a new KR Verada and i am startin all over again. The Spoilter is sittin under the bed at the moment.... I reckon i will keep my current colour (burgundy/Silver) but i don't know? so the $200+ paint/fitting (AGAIN) can wait a while

I fully understand your disapointment. I bidded against Kim (sorry Kim, I didn't know you then) on ebay for the kit but as I had only just bought my car I couldn't afford anymore - Kim beat me. :(
However, Kim was nice and sent me the Magna Website address. :)

I'd like to be able to get a mould of the kit done so I could sell it... but no one in Tasmania would do that kind of bodykit work. Basically the only bodykit places here have off-the-shelf stuff and dont do custom work :(
