Hasn't stopped raining since we went 3rd gen :redface: TJ.

After a 100km/h cruise back on the freeway in the heavy rain, notice some water drops
in the window brake light and a sprinkling of water rear half of the cargo bay cover.
A little rubber-seal leaking under the wagon's deflector/wing?

Don't seem to be any obvious places to leak... any advice appreciated.

I have had a few issues with water leaking in the cargo area of my 3rd gen. Aparently quite common. I have had leaks from all 3 rear windows in cargo area. Both side ones and rear one from up near the top brake light. All windows were taken out and re-sealed which fixed the leaks.

Isnt to expensive for memory.

Thought I'd update on this.

Turned out it wasn't a seal leak. :P

Supposedly was just a dislodged pipe for the rear window jet, which leaked a little water
each time it was used. (But outside still sprayed, so it wasn't suspected.)


Unfortunately my tailgate insides is still watermarked, especially the speaker grilles.
Might have to get some speaker cloth and re-cover them... hmm maybe in a
contrasting darker color would look nicer.
