Total newbie to in-dash changers... :confused: ...recent convert.

(stock Mitsubishi 4-disc unit)

Fed in 4 discs in sequence; when the 4th was sucked in it stopped playing and
just reverting to radio. We started ejecting out the discs again one by one.

When it was time to eject the #1... it suddenly didn't recognise there was a disc there.
The disc has just DISAPPEARED!! :nuts:

After that, we've been able to reload all 4 slots.
All 4 play just fine, even #1.

But hell, we're missing 1 CD!! :shock: :shock:



Anyone pulled apart their 4-changer before?

update:

The changer has died.
Just whirrs away now, refuses to load.
Died over the Easter weekend whilst we tripped down peninsula.

And I called the dealer who checked the VIN database, said
my warranty ran out on 28th March. :doh:

(which is STRANGE as the rego anniversary is 2nd April..??!)

They still said to bring it in, let them rip it out to send back
to Mitsu to see if they'll be willing to do anything to fix.
