Well, here's my all pioneer install... (except the amp - which is a sony that i'm "borrowing" from a mate)

I found this nice feeling black velour and been changing all the carpet in the doors, the parcel shelf and centre console. Soon the roof will be done too. repainted the door trim with VHT paint/die... they look heaps bright cherry instead of maroon/burgandy here, it's cos the second coat hasn't been done in these pics.

I put the tweeters where the mirrors are for convienience... I really couldn't be bothered finding where they best sound. but i reckon they sound kick ass there anyways.

I'll get a pic of my sub + amp soon. Also, the car's pretty messy - so dont mind the mess!... usually it's clean but i've been putting in this audio stuff and i've been getting rid of rust (btw, I HATE POLYESTER BOG!!!! it's nasty!!)

is there any reason you put the crossover boxes on the outside of your door instead of in the door?

Thats the only part that looks messy out of it all.. (wires...)

Looks good, I like the velour stuff esp on the parcel shelf. Good job.

Crossovers are on the outside for bling I guess, u pay good money for splits, why not show them off?

Only prob is they will get kicked a lot there with your feet getting in and out...

looks sweet, pffft hiding wires all i have to say is when i put my sub in the first few days i didnt care about wires its was the sound then i had time for the cleaning up.... good job mate....

i put the crossover boxes on the outside cos theres not a lot of room in the door for it (or i guess it was easier to install if they were on the outside). i guess they add to the bling of the car :D

It is true that Some Elite Models came in the Rare and often disliked burgundy/red interior.
It was catchy back in the early 80's but usually faded to pink in the long run..

BCX7 has actualy resprayed the door trims a better red with that vynal stuff

but only the TMs had the option for red, but i dont think it was the most disliked clearly the brown was :silenced:

indeed, the burgandy/maroon interior was starting to fade, so it's been given a coat of that VHT vynal die. the only thing that hasn't been done is the dash - one day that might come out the when i get another cos i got a crack in it (i guess from the sun)

but yeah - the brown interior seriously is much more worse than the burgandy - why mistubishi? why? :bowrofl:
