How do i do it? and can it be done with acrylic paint? cos i'm gonna be stingy and not paint my car with two-pack unless if someone can convince me why two-pack is better.

Almost looks like you would have to put a hefty tapered paintable decal on there first and paint over the top of it... as for the paint... I have had 2 resprays over the years and used 2-pack... i cant give you an argument as to why it is better sorry.
Game project, but interesting. Good luck.

looks like they have just used heavy decal vinyl the same color as the car, looks nice whoever did it

i'd say its been painted over once its on the car, it moulds into the car too much for it to have been just stuck on

I agree, it looks like its been painted over.
Looks cool I reckon. Something different.

Yeh and its been resprayed a custom colour, you can see the purple tinge at the front (i think a pearl undercoat does that?)
Cos i have a maroon interior (and not changing it), i'm gonna go black paint with gun metal grey two-tone (i know it's a lots of hard work to get it perfect, especially black but it'll be worth it). i thought i would look interesting to have something like that on the bonnet or elsewhere on the car (i was thinking on the back doors, with one of the diamonds being a little cut off but the rear wheel arch, and the top diamond being a little cut off by the window) - so it still looks like a mitsu logo...
any other ideas to what will look cool? i'm open for ideas - i wanna have a unique gen1 :D
ps. my mates and i are making a spoiler for the car out of fibreglass - its sort of a walkinshaw style one from the VLs (not as big though!) but if it's no good, it can be faired into another shape and put on 'stands' (<-- dunno what else to call them) so it sits off the car
Cheers,
Bill

That had me wondering too... it looks awesome.
Well, 2-pack paint doesn't require a clear coat, whereas gloss paint does.

Maybe it's just the screen I'm sitting at at the moment, but it just looks like it's a comp gen symbol to me? A good job, none the less. Could be wrong.

I reckon a good airbrush artist could paint the outline and make it look 3D like that. You seen those 3D sidewalk paintings floating around on the net you'll know what I'm saying.
Also I will say this, I HATE 2PAC! and the paints sh*t too.
If it chips, and it will or is scratched etc its bloody hard to fix.
Also its chemicaly potent and will melt paint or whatever underneathe which will end up in a bubble. My advice, dont use 2pac if your gonna use the car and dont put a sticker under 2pac without testing it can stand up to the melt factor
rant over :D
