hay everyone hows it goin, i know i don't post much but i need to ask you all a question.
about a year ago i got the exhaust done on my magna (TE). with no resonator. Now i am thinking of putting back in because where i live have now incorporated a new law against loud cars. how much power do you lose when putting the resonator back on.
Thanks

not much power dude. main reason for the resonator being there is to cut noise emissions by alot. not worth donating money to the authorities just to have 2-3 kW extra to play with. if the resonator took away 50kW, engineers would have found alternative ways trust me. car manufacturers don't like to add unnecessary weight and take away unnecessary power from their products. they lose in the end!

You will find that due to the resonator design you won't loose much, if at all any noticeable power at all. Id put it back on to keep the police off you back.
