Hey all looking at getting new springs and shocks all round for my magna as current springs on the front are to low for my likeing and all the shocks need replacing.

I sent an email to Philcom Rally and they can do KYB shocks with King Springs with for around $900 (would be a bit less for me as i don't need delivery).
Also talked to my freind who's a mechanic and used to work in a Beaurepairs. He sez i could get Munroe GT's with Industrial Springs (place here in adelaide that makes springs for pretty much anything) for $600 to $700. Either make of springs will be heavy duty lowered of course, not sure how lowered though.

Which deal do people reacon is better? Will KYB and Kings be noticebly better over the cheaper stuff or will i just be paying extra money for the name brands?

Oh and labour isn't really and issue as I can get mechanic freind to do it at his work on a weekend and he can also do trade prices for me if i get he parts through him.

I got KYB and Kings and frankly by far the biggest change was by the springs , in fact next car I'll have I wont bother with the shocks unless theyre really rooted . But I've had Monroes done before and theyre too soft for a new shock even the red ryder cheapies are better for handling imo. Also dont forget the bumpstops which are another $50 each.
