Just wondering if a 95 magna ts exec V6 that has central locking fitted, should usually come with a remote, Or do i have to get one installed and if so how much. Bought the car second hand and was reading that they came with remotes, can i go to mitsubishi and get a new one?

Thanks Guys

You'd need to get a remote installed, do it yourself for less than 60... or for more if you want the alarm and immobaliser installed too....

Where is the central locking control box? Is it under the glovebox or to the right of your feet on the drivers side?

I just bought a remote controller system and got some kind of installation instruction with it, which says to install the box above the pedals and to connect the "closing" lead to a red/yellow cable and the "open" lead to a green/white cable, but there are quite a few green/white cable down there and two red/yellow ones.

Can anyone please tell me which ones to use?

Btw. in my installation manual it says that the Diamante/Magna CDS ist "negative controlled", which means, that the remote-box must switch these cables to ground, in order to open/close the doors.

On the installation manual it says Magna 1992> which should fit, cause mine is a 1995 Magna 3.0L V6.

Any help much appreciated.
