Hey guys. I whent to the tip and i found JVC KD-S550 but with no face plate and wiring harness.

Is there a place that sells second hand face plates ?

I know where i can get a wiring harness for it no problems.

id make sure it works properly first

go visit the JVC website, and go to accessories

jvc will sell them just ring them up and tell them the model number but yer would be a waste buying one to find out the units shagged, also they might charge alot for the face becuase i remember a mates car got broken into and had his face stolen and clarion wanted $140 odd when they have a brand new model out from his for only around $220 any way he also need the back plate becuase theyt broke that too and they wanted $20 odd for that too so it wasnt worth buying a new face he just got a new unit

last time i checked the face plates cost as much as a whole unit to stop theives taking the unit while the face plate isnt there

I can buy a seond hand one from ebay for pretty cheap but im not sure if it works.

Oh yeah. My brother asked about it on another forum with pics of it and some bloke is saying that it is his and it got stolen from his car :bowrofl:

He said that the markings on it are simmilar and he called the cops.

He then asked us what the serial number is :nuts: so we asked HIM what the serial number is so we can compare it.

If its his, fair enough i wil give it back but i really doubt its his anyways.

see, get mine! I have everything that came with it, inc reciept! perfect working condition, and has a face plate! :shock:

Its been a while and he hasnt replied to his thread so im guessing he was full of ****.
