Greetings from Muscat, Oman .. first posting

Believe I'm in the right place (tomorrow I pick up a new, flame red, Magna VRX auto, 3.5 , 230 bhp - according to the sales blurb) .. cost Omani Riyals 6,650 = Aus $ 22,500 .. seems a good price for the car specifications .. firstly, am I in the right place to discuss this car ?

Interested to know if there are any easy modifications to derestrict the top speed, which I understand has been limited to 210 kph .. whilst, again as I have read, believe 240 kph + is fairly easily attainable with this engine.

Well its 210kmh on paper but it wont stop till you hit 218kmh, I tested it again to make sure it hadnt changed on my way home tonite...

Is this the same guy under a new user name who posted almost the exact same thread regarding top speed of a magna and getting around the limiter? :nuts: just wondering :badgrin:

On the new Bangor Bypass in southern sydney. its a ripper. 5k`s of magically straight fresh road... only a few days old. mad race track. i give it 3 months before speed camers`s installed.. i had heaps more road, could of done with another 40kmh of gas.....
