if you have abs brakes after a while the brakes develop almost like groves in them because of the abs coming on and off. this my be the shudder that you can feel its not a problem tho. this could be totally wrong tho this is just my thought

BTW it's called "Brake shudder" or DTV (Disc Thickness Variation).

Machine or replace front and rear. don't do just the front or just the back, because if you have it, it'll most likely be front and rear.

^^ Not necessarily: either front or rear shudder can occur independently, and is determined purely from test driving (front shudder is felt through steering wheel/pedal rear is felt through the body of the car and/or pedal). Machining should also be done at the same time as new pads or it's only doing a half-assed job.

Yeah definatly when having pads replaced machine your rotors. It only costs about 20 bucks a rotor to do.
As for machining the flywheel with a new clutch, yes definatly do it but im pretty sure the magna flywheel cant be machined? Well so im told.

Yeah I've heard the same, due them being due mass or somthing allong those lines. I'm having mine done next week (RPM 30-40% heavier clutch) by the mob next door to my joint.
They said they are not ment to fit clutches without machining the flywheel (or replacing it) or they won't give warranty, but they'll do mine with a die grinder to freshen the surface and still give me warranty (we are right next door and share the same carpark, so they want to keep us happy as we send all our work vans to get serviced at their place).
How much are flywheels anyway????
