also, is it difficult to install this sony HU myself? i have never done anything like it.....
if i dont want to solder, can i get the snap on connectors? how much do they cost?? thanks!

hey...it should b pretty straight forward. with mine, my screw holes didn't line up, so i just used the sleeve. doesn't move, doesn't skip, all shmick.
u can get a snap-on harness for around 15-20 bucks, and you won't have to worry about which coloured wire goes to what...tho, to conect the harness to your heaunit wiring harness still requires either crimp terminals or a solder.
soldering is good. if done right, it will never come apart. also some ppl reckon terminals suck, coz they can corrode, thus affecting conductivity, like surface area etc..
u could buy my headunit! :D

waht are crimp terminals? is there any pics? so by using crimp terminals, i dont have to do any soldering at all?
so the connection goes like this:
wires from car--> crimps --> harness --> HU, right? is there any walk through with pics? thanks!
