ok so i enjoyed my redback muffler for a while (actually i still love it) but i cant help but want more now.

I was reading the RPW website and they reckon that some extractors, into a 2.5" highflow cat, into a 2.5" spiral flow resonator into a 3" lukey ultra flow muffler is the way to go. All 2.5" mandrel bent piping. From my experience this all sounds pretty well right as far as power goes, but my questions are:

a) anyone got this setup or something similar, if so whats the results like?
b) whats it sound like? will this setup pass legal sound tests and will it drone my head off on the highway? i spend alot of time on the highway so this is very important
c) whats the deal with new car warranty and extractors/cat upgrades. I know they accept cat-back exhaust mods, but do they get excited about extractors and highflow cats??
d) finally how much $$$ am i looking at here? im thinking of pacemaker extractors. im thinking around the 700-1000 mark? am i being conservative or optimistic??

any advice would be great, also if you think you know of a better setup, please share :)

For a full mandrel bent system, it's prolly gonna hurt you more than that :/ a full 3" mandrel for a vl turbo I've yet to see for below 1k, and thats - extractors, afaik it's the cat thats the overpriced piece of carp :(

i actaully have the exact same setup, to be more specific the article on that web site is actually written about my car, those dyno results were from my car.
Out of all the mods i have done this one would be the best, power delivery done low was amazing. I recorded a 12hp atw increase over my high flow lukey muffler mainly down low but an increase in power and torque over the entire rev range.
Ok its pretty loud, it doesnt drone though. I couldnt confirm if it would pass the noise test but i have had it for like 6 months now and never been pulled over so it couldnt be that bad.
Price- u will have to contact RPW for that as i think i received a discount being the test car and all.
Trust me though its a great mod

On the highway its fine hey, most noise is generated through acceleration, the harder u accelerate the louder it is. So going 100-110 you will b able to hear it but it wont be annoying at all-just sound beefy
