I currently got a
TF Magna Advance Automatic, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Central Locking, Cruise Control, Power Mirrors, etc.

Question 1On start up there seems to be a noise of something rubbing from the engine???? Real quiet but you notice it if you listen carefully... very carefully. After a few seconds warming up it does... but it louder when the AC is on during start up (like not having switched it off last night).

Question 2 If revved up around 1100 - 1300 there is a slight rubbing noise once again u gotta listen in really carefully on a dead night... only noticeable in that rev range is that normal or not.. It does that in Reverse and Drive but not in neutral.

Current Oil is the Mitsubishi Genuine Oil and the Genuine Filter.
No Engine Mods - Stock V6 3L Auto
Car has 86000 kms

Any advice is appreciated.
Am i being paranoid or are these normal as a mates does the first one 2....

I think it might be the noise of the engine spinning at 1200 rpms...

I'd get rid of the car if I were you... Sounds defective.

Had a mechanic mate give it a thorough going over and said its all good... its just that being a powerful front wheel drive it is the sound of the engine and gearbox being under load to take off, nothing to worry about...
