cost me $300 for the pair from Mem.
You can do them yourself .... alot easier if you have a compressor and airgun :D

I remember i paid close to 400 for a major service, gearbox service and left CV joint replacement so it shouldn't cost you tooo much. Shop around on this one.

I had this problem just lately. I took it to my mechanic and it cost $100 to have a new boot put on and that stopped all the clunking and clicking. Don't leave it too long as your will blow your CV joint and will only cost you more money.

its clunking and grinding because it needs to be repacked with grease again as all of it has splattered everywhere! so if the cv does not have grease there is no lubrication whichwill make a shudder sound and grinding feeling....scarey stuff!

ive just had my right hand side boot replaced and repacked with grease, cost me 90 bucks, but im still getting the grinding noises! bugga! should hav jst got new cv's from the start :( will cost me 170 supplied and fitted so if u def think yr cvs r gone then dont bother repackin them its a waste of time and money!
