Hi first message so here goes - brought a 1999 TH Advance last week (private sale), had it two days and the SRS light came on and didn't go off. Took it to a Mitsubishi service centre and they put it on the computer and it came back that the Analoge G Sensor is stuffed and we need to replace the SRS E.C.U. which will cost over $700. Apparently the previous owner could not have had the SRS signal turned off as it will now stay on until it is replaced. Anyone had this happen to their car? Can another mechanic replace the ECU. What about putting in a second hand one (maybe not!) They also said that the airbags may or maynot deply in the case of an accident!!!! That's handy!! Best to get it fixed I guess.
