Yes, it's hard but it can be done.
You'll save some money and learn some stuff doing it, but the first time is always a huge pain.
Before you start remember to get the right tools as you will need spring compressors (available from most automotive and tool stores and not to dear) As not using these is dangerous, no matter what any body says.

Honestly, without proper tools and know how I would not recommend taking this on.

i did mine myself but i did them with a mate who had already done his, not too hard when you have spring compressors and a lot of time, but make sure you have someone who has done it before or you will be screwed,
cheers

These are not dangerous at all, have used mine on a number of cars with no probs what so ever. Only dangerous if you dont take em off when your done lol

Its totally possible to do yourself.. mitsu suspension is easy to work with.. I watched my mechanic friend do mine, and its definately doable..
And as was said before, you just really need spring compressors... and then youre sweet... take note of what you are doing tho, as sometimes it can be a pain to fit the spring back onto the strut correctly..

Have a look at the tech pages on www.madmagna.com
Its easy to do.
Spring compressors (get the double claw type) ($20), socket set, torque wrench and a decent jack/car stands (not the shitty scissor jack that comes with the car)
I can scan from the workshop manual how to remove the struts if you like aswell as give you all the torque settings.
See the below images to ensure you get your springs and strut plates mounted correctly.
