hey all.
ive got myself a pioneer deck but none of the wires for the deck to plug into the car.
b4 u get angry and suggest that i stole it...i didnt.
does neone know where i can get them?
also do u need to have the metal casing, not on the actual cd player but for the slot that it goes into. and where can u get one of those?

so from what i gather, you need a new wiring loom(wires and plug) a sleeve (metal shell thing u slide the headunit into) and a collar?

Pioneer should provide these things for you. Oh, you might want some keys too (the things u shove into the sides of the headunit out if u wanted to get it out.

if u have a look at supercheap auto or maybe auto barn or something like that, they have some of the plugs to plug into the head units, if ur lucky u can even get one which plugs straight into the head unit and straight into the stock plug on your cars wiring loom.. as for the metal sleeve u dont really need it, there should be screw holes in the side of the head unit u can screw into. just makes it harder when u wanna take it out.

You can get aftermarket looms from most auto electricians (brands like Aerpro make them). You can also get genuine ones from Pioneer but be prepared to pay the better part of $100 for them genuine. :)
