I jumped in the car tonight and as i turned the ignition i here thump thump and now random bits of lcd are on the screen of my 1997 verada's stereo are on, i'm so cut it just blew when i turned on the car, ill try undoing the battery and see if it just needs a reset but it looks terminal :rant:

You mean the screen is stuffed? That is not battery related dude. :(
