As you all know stocks include 205/60 rubbers on most Mitsu Magnas( usually in these parts). The question is whether its possible to slap in a 245/45 or 235/35 set of tires without doing any other upgrade on the vehicle ??? ...just the tire and rim changes?

I hate my tires ..
how long do you think tires survive?

I am about to put a 91 tp excecutive wagon on the road it has 205-55-15 on front and 225-50-15 0n rear and any bigger rear would have to pump guards. The rims are of one of my grandtour,s

Yeah. as long as you got the right rim ie width/offset/dia
Tyres will last a long time if you look after them. I've got a set of toyos on my galant I've had for around 6 years and they still have a fair amount of tread left but they are a harder compound rubber. Soft compound for grip hard compound for longevity is one factor of compromise in choosing a tyre.

yea that answers the second question but will it be possible to slap in a 245/45 or 235/35 set of tires without doing any other upgrade on the vehicle to accomodate such tires???
