Out of curiosity, what kind of fuel do you use in your car, and how long have you had the car?

not just what kind of fuel but how often do you get it serviced and have the fuel filter replaced?
I had something similar to this on my TS V6 - never did find what the problem was - lease expired on it and it went back, soI never did find what the problem was.
Oh....and Mitsubishi were not very helpful in getting the problem sorted. Initially it was worst when the car was cold (but still played up when warm). They test drove it after 30 minutes of me taking it to them and reported "no fault found". What part of COLD did they not understand?
Swapped computer
Off car injector clean
Replaced plugs
Replaced all filters
Swapped air box
All to no avail

i seem to have been having the same problem recently.
car would either turn over fine or have a lot of trouble turning over. And if it did turn over, I could drive as long as i didn't turn it off. If i did turn it off, i'd come back 15min later and try to turn it over and all i get is a click click click from inside the cabin (as far as i can tell). Go back an hour later, and it will turn over fine.
anyone got any ideas?????

Your problem sounds like a starter motor relay...

starter motor relay hey? ..... will have to investigate that.
after a bit investigating i thought it could possibly be the EFI Control Relay since the clicking was coming from inside the cabin.
but thanks for that :)
