guess what! one (hopefully only one) of the bearings in my gearbox is stuffed!! :( have taken to newcastle gearbox and diff and they are getting me prices on replacing the shit of a thing!!
Im not sure whats caused it.... i'm hoping the lads at the gearbox and diff place can enlighten me on that...
has anybody else had this happen??? any idea of what the cost would/should be???

well. i found out today its gunna cost $1235 max :( for full set of new bearing (all parts and labour), but that is genuine parts... the guy said they would most likely be able to get OEM stuff at a fraction of the cost but as they have never pulled one down they dont (and reckon they cant get) the part numbers for OEM bits :? said more like $800 total...
so, anybody know of a LSD lying around that i can get them to shove in while they've got it in bits????
