Having owned a TM, have they sorted the auto trans in all the models, looking at TJ era, need to watch for any new probs or years to steer clear of???

Friend had a TN manual. Refused to go near an auto. I think TM/TN/TP auto's were crap. (I know I'm goin' to regret saying that). The auto transmission guy told me it had something to do with the wrong run-in oil. I think they got the problem sorted by TR.
