hey all, sorry, just afta some advise about prices for a 93 magna tr... ive been leaking coolant in the past, so recently i flushed, and cleaned the cooling system, and put in a bottle of stop leak... this didnt work, it leaks heaps more now, leaving trails of coolant wherever i move... :shock:
how much do u guys reckon a water pump is? with or without labour?
ne help with this would b appreciated! thanks dudes!

i paid about $450 to get a new water pump and time chain done at the same time too.

A water pump for the Astron isnt much from the wreckers, i blew one and bought one )as new) for $30...Thats your best bet.
EDIT: Where is it leaking from? :confused:

its leaking from the front underside of the water pump... pain in the ass bad, cos i cant exactly see the place where it is leaking but it still leaves a huge puddle of coolant under my car... :confused:
are they hard to install if i were to buy 1 from the wreckers? cos $30 sounds like a good option... afterall, i am a poor uni student...

i had the same problem in my TP and it cost me about $200 fitted by my old man in the middle of the street where it stopped working, so can't be that hard to fit

sweet, sounds like ill grab 1 from the wreckers and get 1 of my bros to help me fit it...
