Hello all,
I have an '02 Diamante ES in the US, I had aset of Pacemaker headers (extractors) put on a while back. Because the car for our version was a California spec vehicle I had a total of 4 O2 senors to play with.
I had to relocate 3 out of the 4 to cover similar aspects of the exhaust flow. Relocation involved making all my O2 sensors wires much longer than stock. To make a long story short, I have begun as of yesterday getting my SEL coming on, I borrowed a OBD II code reader and it gives me a P0133 which is "SLOW SIGNAL RESPONSE, BANK 1 SENSOR 1"
I need opionions or possible an answer if anyone knows. Could this code be caused because how much I had to lengthen this particular sensor? Basically I had to nearly double the stock length. Or could it be caused by the sensor possibly being damaged? I had replaced the sensors during this process already however. The car did run very rich for a few weeks while I gathered funds for SAFC II to control the fuel a bit. I doubt that the sensor would deteriorate so quickly.
Not sure, I'm trying to get the car on a lift soon to check out the wiring and the sensor but I have work this week so who knows. Anyway thanks for any help you can give me.
