What is it? Sounds like suspension related.

No idea, but it sounds like one of my problems. I need to get my suspension overhauled pronto.

Dunno wtf you're referring to; go back and ask the person who mentioned it to you, to clarify what it is.

the roll mount is one of the engine mounts, but is specifically to stop the engine from twisting in the engine bay, i can't remember exactly which one it is, either near the firewall or the radiator

That's what my last Mitsu service invoice mentioned. So I did ask for clarification but they didn't get back to me :doubt:

I suspected as much as I asked them to check the engine mounts. Ta.

Yeah i had this problem a while back. Check the rubbers on your engine mounts. If there all good check out the mounts them selves for cracks. I had the passengerside mount rubber was torn due to the front mount. During a drive to NSW from Townsville the top half had sheered off somewhere on the trip (rather ****house road to drive on)
Got new mounts put in and since then no probs. Maybe the poly mounts might be a good idea or they could put even more stress on the brackets/mounts!!
