I have found this site that states that they can make scissor doors for any car so i emailed them and they quoted me $2500 to make a bolt on kit for the magna.

Yeah only the front doors  I guess you could get suicide doors on the back if you wanted.
How else would you get there

You wouldn't have to take the car there. Everyone who makes them say you can do it yourself and it usually takes around 4-6 hours to do it, for an amatuer. And I've checked with places in Aust. UK and the US.

Just to clarify, we have not objection to people using the search and then providing more input into an old thread if the information is relevant. This will save 50 threads about the same thing.
It is only when someone mines an old thread to post spam that we will close it off

im actuall in the process with a mate in making suicied doors for the rear doors of my car thing is they are not legal will need to see an engineer after they are fitted which will be in a while. but ill keep you posted.
if it works and if it is legal or if an engineers certificate can be given we could be able to make sum.
remember this is an if.
possibly will be best to use in a show car application.

i dont know if the kits are still availible, but you used to be able to buy the kits to do them here in austrakia for $250 they are a bolt on for any car. there isnt much to making them scissor its just a differant hinge set up. i think it was burnin customs that used to bring them in
