Well it sounds like one of your CV's are shot, but no worries you can generally drive around with them gone for a while. They aren't terribly expensive to repair either. Depending which belt snapped, it shouldn't be to costly.

Was the it the powersteering? Did your steering stiffen up? It wouldn't be your timing belt otherwise you wouldn't be able to drive that car and you'd know about it - most probobly a nicely buggered motor.

Let us know how you go mate. How was T3?

i broke the pwr steering alternator belt on my car
the charge light came on and had no pwr steering
had an old spare one in my boot and got the RAA guy to put in on for me
then bought a new belt and got them to change it at the next service
i had my cvs done recently too for my TS cost only 340 for both side
might be the boot has just split and run outa oil and clunks
new cv boot is pretty cheap to
the noise could be brakes my old cordia made a scraping noise when you turned left didn't now what it was till pads wore out a week later
just got new pads and had rotors/discs machined(i forget which)
nothing super expensive tho

The last cruise only 6 came but that was due to a few people in either accidents or cars have died *ahherm Roger*

You should come along, nothing wrong with a stock magna, and you get plenty of idea's when it comes to modding your ride and meet some great people. Its a fun day.

I got my magna over a S13 silvia due to not being able to afford the turbo insurance!!

but now I am glad i got the magna - it is a great car - and as for stock - don't worry about it - not all of us can afford wheels!!

And the belt was worn out completly.. gonna get the book of magna... the bible of the car so ma dad has an idea on how to fix it since its unlike all the cars he's ever fixed (ie cars that are all before 1986..)

And who says i cant afford wheels?

I just cant afford good ones :P and i think my plastic coverings looks good! ahah
