I just noticed that the tl vrx has tinted rear lights.
These fit on a tj right?
Not sure about the look on a silver or light coloured car but on something dark (one of u black owners) I think they'll look sweet.
Slap me down if someones already mentioned it or tell em who thought of it first.

a bit worried about the gap with the boot but hey, what r u gunna do.
the inside top corner of the tail light has a smoother bend than the boot, so the boot corner is a little raised.prob 2-3mm since i've adjusted the boot. you can only notice it if your looking for it.

Hang on a second.....Let me get this straight.....
The TJ --> TL+ tail lights are different by 2-3mm in the top corner???
I can't quite believe they would bother with a new mold for that much of a difference.

yeah, from a cost point of view you'd think they'd keep them the same between the TJ - TL...

Just wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge on fitting rear tinted taillights from a TL magna to a TE 96 Sedan i want new tail lights because i dont like mine, and these by far look the best, as far as a i can tell my tail lights are slightly more angular than the TL, and i dont wanna have to chop up my car to fit them, any ideas ???
As for the headlights im thinking 96 Verada Headlights with my current dark side lights and Phillips Crystal Vision Bulbs, Very Sweet Looking, Along side 2 sets of halogen driving lights, ( 2 per side ( total of 4 ) mounted into the exsiting front bar.

jeez - pretty noticable from that angle isn't it.
Kinda off the topic abit - as most of y'all would have noticed by now, the new mazdas (6's & 3's in particular) are comming out with quite a variety of styles of "altezza type" tail lights (always a good way of comparing how different body colour/altezza styles look together, incase those magna ones ever get made). Yesterday I saw a mazda 3 sedan with a body colour quite similar to mitsubishi's sienna red, the tail lights on this car looked as if they had a chrome cluster, but the perspex was tinted in a way that it was almost an exact match to the body colour - but still transparent. The rest of the car was factory, so I assume the lights were too.
I just thought it looked hot - and a pretty smart move on mazda's part IMHO to give buyers so many factory tail light options.

Does it stand out heaps.. im still worried about the boot edge pocking out to much..

It wouldn't be too noticeable on a black car like yours.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing what a set of KJ Verada ones looked like tinted on a black Ralliart, but what would you do for a reverse light?

The verada tailights cost $335.00 each from Ozeparts... wonder how much they are from an MMAL dealer, and there is still the question about the reverse light.
hmm...

ask WTCHME about the reverse lights.... he put them inside the indicator casing

KJ Verada lamps are $363.00 from MMAL, almost three times as expensive as the TL VR-X lamps!
I now have a set of the tinted TL VR-X lamps on order (ex-east coast). If they aren't dark enough I'll spend another $15 and take to them with a can of Night shade.
