i don't do ricey things man. it's all for a purpose. underneath that bonnet is an open air circular filter... SURROUNDED by a custom circular airbox which seals to the bottom of the bonnet via door seals. the only air that gets in that engine is from that scoop and damn it is mighty cool
u saw me itsubish? cool. did u hear my new exhaust aswell? wat did u think of that if u heard it?
and YES the car is gunna be lowered in time. gimme a break im a uni student. better still gimme a drink hahahaha

i actually heard the exhaust awhile back, i think it was the night u headed out to the drags, u were merging near kmart on rrrd, so u were right beside me, so i wound down the window and had a listen, sounded sweet.
b4 u try to think y u didnt notice me, it was cause i was in the crapbox laser, and wasnt about to let anyone see me in it!!!!! so i kept a low profile and sort of snuck a look and listen on da sly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, having the airbox around my open air circular filter, water can easily get inside and pool. this is where my genius idea comes in lol... i took it off and poured water into this airbox (without the filter in it of course) to find the lowest points where water would pool. i then drilled several holes in the lowest points, which is more than enough to drain the water out. trust me, this works... i live in townsville and it can hammer down pretty quickly, especially wen that ex cyclone came over the top of us a month or so back. the water dosen't get to my filter either cause the chrome top part of the filter acts as a sort of shield and the water flies off that and hits the back part of the airbox, then pools underneath.
i hope that all makes sense, i just woke up. it dosen't matter if only a small portion of water gets into ur carby... it will evaporate pretty quickly in the hot engine. it will just act as a sort of water injection wen it rains. but this is only tiny amounts of water we are talking
