Got a 97 Magna TE V6 3.0L

Groaning noise is coming from the front left hand side when driveing sounds like its coming from near the wheel or something...anyone know what it is / what its going to cost to fix?

Is it only when you are driving or when you put on the brakes?

possible wheel bearing if its coming from the wheel area

or cv joint

dont really get what u mean when u say groan

cos the groans i know dont sound anything like a car lol

Is the groan like a deep hum kinda sound... i think it might be wheel bearing.

is there a delete button to delete posts? cos i posted it twice but i cant delete it and it gets really annoying cos then i have to edit it dont you think its annoying? and then everyone get annoyed cos they read this annoying post about being annoyed about that annoying delete button that isnt anywhere to be found

Turns out mechanic didnt fit brakepads right. They were rubbing and grating off bits of metal

ummm great mechanic....brake pads must be one of the easiest things to fit on a car....if your mechanic cant do it properly i'd be looking for a new mechanic....
