hey all
i have a stock cept sound systen TN EXEC
i am getting a tp elite this week, this is just for parts
i want to put the doors (so pwr windows and central locking) in my tn as well as the dash and console, and seats
console and seats should be no issue, yet im not sure how to go about the power windows central locking and dash (dash i can read one of the many threads on already, is there already wiring for the doors, or will i need to make it?, anyone done this before?
thanks

hmm, how hard do u recon it would be to change the WHOLE loom as in any way of taking it outa the car without cutting it, if so i can strip both cars down just cut the loom outa the tn, and carefully extract the loom from the tp and put it in the tn

Probably easier to swap the entire loom than it is to splice the two together

unless u have a wagon, and are using sedans wiring looms, u may as well swap the entire loom, its a major B* and a half to splice and dice, and blah blah, unless ure only using certain pieces, like only power windows, like me, u just make ure own body loom and use and inner door loom. and etc for the rest of the stuff.
the only time ull wanna splice and dice is if ure gonna keep the exec steering controls for a more modern look, yet have digi guages and power stuff. so
hmm, didnt think u were reguarding to me AF, considering u say nothing in chat :D

want me to post the records? lol
hmm, ure the 6th person to say that, cept everyone else emailed me, must be that msn glitch been reading on.
I'm with the others. Swap the wiring loom!
Mine's a patched loom, and it was an absolute ***** to splice, and to sort out problems!
As for the rest, I'm looking for a grey interior, after I get the car rebuilt.

yep i have done it but you must completely strip the donor car eg. tp elite
is a huge job changing loom and takes ages depending on how much free time you have but by far the easiest way to convert i have tried plicing in new loom to a project i had a while ago and its crap takes to long things dont work you gotta constantly keep going
just change whole loom dude way easier as its straight swap
